Purr Diary is designed as a small, private diary for cat owners. The app helps you record cat audio, video, recognition results, and diary notes on your device.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect, upload, sell, or share your cat's audio, videos, cat profiles, diary records, photos, labels, or notes. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, and we do not track you across apps or websites.

Local data

Cat profiles, recognition records, notes, and saved media references are stored locally on your device. Audio recognition and video analysis are intended to run locally on your device. If you delete the app, local app data may also be removed according to iOS behavior.

System permissions

Purr Diary may ask for these permissions only when needed:

Microphone: to record cat sounds.
Camera: to record cat videos.
Photos: to choose videos, replay saved video clips, or save newly recorded videos to Photos.
Files: to choose audio files for local recognition.

Optional support purchase

Purr Diary may offer an optional in-app support item. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive your payment card information. The support item does not unlock, limit, or change recognition, recording, or diary features.

Recognition results

Recognition results are for reference only. They are not veterinary, medical, health, or safety advice. If you are worried about your cat's health or behavior, please contact a veterinarian or other qualified professional.
